The curls are back! Kim Kardashian goes easy on the hair product and lets North West's naturally beautiful hair hang loose in Armenia

There will soon come a time when North West is as opinionated about how she looks as her fashion conscious mother and father.

But for now Kim Kardashian has free rein to play dress up with her adorable 22-month-old - and is making the most of it.

For once, however, Kim managed to restrain herself from dolling up her daughter as the family arrived in Armenia on Wednesday.

Going easy on the hair product she left the youngster's naturally beautiful curls on show, while she dressed the toddler in a simple outfit of trousers and shirt, with a pair of white pumps.

North was previously seen with her hair slicked back as she boarded the plane in Los Angeles.

Kim has previously revealed that she uses a product from her own beauty range, Black Seed Dry Oil, to work her girl's tresses into submission.

Speaking to Allure magazine recently, Kim said: '[North's] hair has just gotten long enough that I can now slick it up into a bun. I use the Black Seed Dry Oil to tighten it up.'

Over previous months, North has worked several different hairstyles: one of her most famous styles is a top knot, or two buns on either side of her head, usually for her ballet class when she's dressed in a tutu.

In an interview last year, Kim revealed that North is rather independent with her looks, and likes to sort out her hair by herself.

Final destination: The stars were later seen arriving at their hotel in the country capital of Yerevan

Happy bunny! After their family dinner, it seems North enjoyed her first night in Armenia as she flashed a huge grin

Back to sleep: After their long-haul flight from America, the family were no doubt keen to get some rest

'North likes to brush her own hair. You start with a brush and then you have to get a second brush [for her]. Right when you get it all perfect, she takes the brush and starts doing it herself,' she explained in an interview with Women's Wear Daily.

She also revealed her reasons for choosing to keep her daughter's hair slicked back: 'I just started using our oil because I needed to slick it [her hair] back and make it stay.

'I just use a drop of it, but then she brushes it and likes to mess it all up.'
