Lewis Hamilton brightens up his day with chunky gold necklaces as he shows off slick new hairstyle ahead of the Shanghai Grand Prix in China

Ever since ending his long-term on/off romance with Nicole Scherzinger, Lewis Hamilton has really been mixing it up when it comes to his style choices.
And the racing champ exhibited his unique tastes once again as he stepped out on the paddock during previews to the Formula One Grand Prix of China at Shanghai International Circuit on Thursday.
The 30-year-old donned a set of two chunky gold necklaces, which contrasted somewhat against his simple black uniform.

And, as he turned to the side, he also showed off what seemed to be a brand new hairstyle.
The British sportsman, who has been known for his close-cropped hair over the years, has now grown out his  locks and shaved the sides into a contemporary, youthful style, almost looking like a mohawk 'do from the back.

He spent much of the morning getting ready for his weekend of racing at the iconic Formula 1 event.
And the evening beforehand, he had exhibited his dapper style and his smarter side as he attended a Hugo Boss promotional event in the city.
On Wednesday night, he had looked impeccably sharp - his new hair coiffed to perfection - in a dark grey suit, his sparkly earring on full show and adding some suave to his overall ensemble.
The British sports icon looked relaxed as he spoke to the press and one of the representatives at the event, despite his hectic work life and also after getting over his recent split from Nicole.

The pair finally split in February after trying to make their seven-year romance work time and time again, and each party was left notably heartbroken.
A source close to the star told MailOnline at the time: 'It was a mutual decision. The long distance kept them apart for long periods of time.
'They both spent most of their time alone because they were in different countries all the time. Nicole is heartbroken and devastated.'
Both Nicole, 36, and Lewis have been seen out and about separately ever since, each of them barely able to raise a smile.

And, as well as his love life woes, if Lewis seemed to be cutting a slightly glum figure as he prepared himself for his next race in Shanghai, that could be down to the fact his latest contract has been delayed.
He recently described the ongoing issues over the document as a 'pain in the backside', as he has become deeply involved in the paperwork.
Following the Malaysian Grand Prix just under two weeks ago, Lewis claimed his new deal with Mercedes, worth an estimated £21million per year, was '99.6 per cent done' and was now in the hands of his lawyers.
But the fine print of the terms and conditions means the racing driver, who opted on this occasion - and for the first time in his career - to negotiate for himself without an agent, is becoming frustrated.
According to him it now means 'it is unlikely' the contract will be signed ahead of this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Hamilton added: 'Obviously at the last race I said it would be done within a week.
'This is my first time negotiating myself and you don't know how many times I've had to read about 80 pages.
'It is so much reading and it is all in lawyer jargon, so it has been quite a pain in the backside to be honest.'
