Bieber gets a makeover! Justin comes over all camera-shy as he tries to hide his newly-bleached platinum blonde hair

He's been trying to toughen up his look over the last year to match his bad boy attitude.

And Justin Bieber has taken things to the next level by dyeing his hair an edgy shade of platinum blonde, stepping out in public with his new hairdo for the first time on Thursday.

The Canadian pop star did his best to hide his face from the cameras as he left a hair salon in West Hollywood, California, following his radical transformation.

The controversial Baby hit-maker has become a fully-fledged bad boy, with the baggy trousers and tattoos to match.

He's also had several run-ins with the law for scandals as wide-ranging as being fined for vandalism in Brazil to being charged for egging his former neighbor's home.

Most memorably, Justin was caught drag racing in a rented yellow Lamborghini in January this year and arrested on suspicion of D.U.I. (driving under the influence).

The charges were dropped after he made a $50,000 donation to a youth charity as part of a plea deal and was ordered to undertake 12 hours of anger management counseling.

Meanwhile, it seems his on/off romance with Selena Gomez is over for good.

The singer was spotted sharing an intimate hug with 18-year-old model Hailey Baldwin this week.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: 'Justin has a new muse and it’s Hailey. She’s really fun, feisty, and could care less about Justin’s fame and fortune.'
