She is one of the world's most successful models but Bar Refaeli opted for a dressed-down look in Milan on Monday.

The 29-year-old Israeli-born beauty kept her incredibly figure under wraps in a grey T-shirt, baggy, ripped jeans and white trainers as she took in the sights of the Italian city.

And Bar, who recently got engaged to Adi Ezra, the chairman of food distributor Neto ME Holdings, left her incredible diamond engagement ring behind as she enjoyed some shopping, sightseeing and lunch in her low-key outfit.

MailOnline has contacted Bar's rep for comment.

Bar kept her make-up simple, with her blonde hair loose around her shoulders and a pair of aviators to shield her eyes.

The couple was introduced through mutual friends about a year ago.

Before Adi, Bar's last serious relationship was with Leonardo DiCaprio. They began seeing each other in 2005, shortly after The Departed actor's split from Gisele Bündchen.

DiCaprio and Refaeli ended their relationship in 2011.

In October 2013 Bar was lamenting about her single status. 'I don't understand it,' she told newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

'I’m okay. I look great. I’m cool. I like going out. I like being at home, I like movies, I like eating. So what’s wrong with me? Why am I alone?'

She also said that she struggled when she saw Leonardo move on with Blake Lively, who he had a brief fling with.

'I suddenly choked up and I started crying uncontrollably,' she recalled. 'No one knows that I went back to my room and broke down in bitter tears. I couldn’t stop crying.'

However, now that she is happily loved up, Bar doesn't care who DiCaprio dates anymore.

She was recently asked by TMZ what she thought of her ex-boyfriend's rumoured love interest, superstar Rihanna.

'I think Rihanna is amazing,' she said. 'She must be everyone's type.'

Neither Leonardo nor Rihanna have spoken out about their relationship, either to confirm or deny the host of rumours.
