Her Daddy Warbucks! Blue Ivy gets a lift from doting father Jay Z on outing with Beyonce to Annie premiere

Jay Z is among the producers for the new film adaptation of the Broadway musical Annie, which held its New York premiere on Sunday.

And his two leading ladies, Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy, showed up to support, arriving in coordinated winter coats.

The family-of-three were seen leaving the premiere together, with the 45-year-old rapper carrying his two-year-old little girl in his strong arms.

Jay Z, who also contributed to the Will Gluck-directed film’s soundtrack, sported a sleek grey suit over a crisp white dress shirt with glossy dress shoes.

Blue Ivy was clad in a little black dress with black tights and Mary Jane shoes, while keeping warm with a colourful knit scarf wrapped around her neck.

Earlier, the little girl was seen arriving to the premiere at the Ziegfeld Theatre in her mother’s arms, wearing a grey pea coat with fur trim.

The movie, which hits theatres December 19, was produced by Jay Z as well as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, and several others.

In the movie, ‘Annie (Quvenzhané) is a young, happy foster kid who's also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York in 2014,’ according to Sony Entertainment.

‘Originally left by her parents as a baby with the promise that they'd be back for her someday, it's been a hard knock life ever since with her mean foster mom Miss Hannigan (Cameron).

‘But everything's about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie) makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in.’

Will Stacks is the iconic character Daddy Warbucks, whose his name was changed in this film.

This gives her a career total of 53 Grammy nominations, cementing her status as the most Grammy-nominated woman in history.

Whether or not Beyonce will have more than 17 Grammy trophies after this year's honours will be determined at the ceremony, broadcast on CBS February 8 at 8pm EST.
