Off to the speakeasy? David Beckham brings an old trend back in the form of vintage sleeve garters in Miami

He's one of the most stylish men in the world, and David Beckham looks set to bring back an old fashion trend after stepping out with sleeve garters on Tuesday.
The ex-footballer was looking dapper as he left his hotel in Miami, wearing a light purple shirt, with a mental band on each arm, and black suit trousers.
With his hair styled in an Errol Flynn side-parting and his eyes masked by a pair of RayBan Clubmaster sunglasses, many will be hoping to replicate David's vintage look.

The sleeve garter was a prominent mens' fashion accessory from the time of the American Old West to the Prohibition-era, and was often worn by bartenders, bookies and musicians to keep their shirt sleeves clean and out of the way while they worked.
But with the technological advancements in textiles and fashion, the metal armbands have become more of an aesthetic than practical necessity for the modern-day stylish man.
But the accessory may have come in handy for David as he headed to the MLS American Airlines Arena for a business meeting, where he's been hard at work.

And the former England football captain will certainly be rolling up his sleeves to fine tune the deal he is expected to make by taking up the option to buy a Major League Soccer franchise in the Floridian city.

Beckham and MLS commissioner Don Garber will make a 'significant announcement' after he has spent the last few days securing support for the sporting endeavour.
On Tuesday night, David will give a statement at an invitation-only reception, where he and Garber will be joined by Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez.
The former LA Galaxy player was given the option to take over an MLS franchise at a discounted rate of $25 million as part of his deal when joining the US side from Real Madrid.
According to reports, Beckham is hoping to build a 25,000 seat stadium on the Miami waterfront, and if they get funding, the team is likely to take part in the 2017-18 season.
