Ayodeji Richard Makun, the creative and very enterprising Comedian celebrated world over as AY the comedian has hit another career Milestone as he is currently shooting his first Produced Film in the USA. Titled 30 Days in Atlanta… The Adventures of Akpos, and Produced by AY, the film, a Romantic Comedy stars Hollywood A-Listers in the shape and talent of Lynn Whitfield, Vivica Fox, and Karlie Redd. Nollywood representation in the Movie is noticeable in Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Desmond Elliot, Ramesy Noah, Rachael Oniga, Omoni Oboli, Ada Ameh, and of course lead role act – AY, himself. Nigeria US-based Fashion Designer and Actor Kesse Jabari also features in 30 Days in Atlanta, while Sexy Juliet Ibrahim and super -talented Majid Mitchel are the Gollywood stars in the Movie. Directed by Nolly-, and now Hollywood Robert Peters, 30 Days in Atlanta is planned to be shot in Locations in Atlanta, USA, and Lagos, Nigeria. AY began a smart attempt at engaging the actor in him with short comedy Skits featuring several Nollywood greats and premiered at AY Live Concerts Then, he made his first Movie appearance in Accra Ghana playing a super cop in Juliet Ibrahim’s Number One Fan. Graceful and Award Winning Omoni Oboli gave AY a second movie appearance in her ‘Being Mrs. Elliot’ – a Movie shot in Lagos, Ekiti, and Asaba. “This one,” AY said, “is the first Movie I would produce. It’s like having your first child. It brings so much joy. Interestingly, the story also is mine. I’ve watched the movie countless times in my imagination, and I’m so fulfilled seeing the physical equivalent of my dreams unfold in my lifetime here in Atlanta. “It’s been a family affair on set. I have a great cast and crew here. We love and respect one another. Everybody knows what to do and when to do it. Honestly, I’m enjoying every bit of the shoot. “We hope to wrap shooting up by the end of the October, and God willing by November 3rd, we shall begin the Nigeria-Phase of the Shoot.” Early 2013, the Creative Entrepreneur Association of Nigeria in conjunction with the British Council, honored AY as the Most Creative Entrepreneur of the Year (the Comedy Category); ventures like 30 Days in Atlanta justify the Award.
