I Don’t Owe You a Dime – 2Face To Blackface

A few days ago, pioneer member of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Augustine Ahmedu aka Blackface took his former mate, Innocent Idibia otherwise known as 2Face Idibia, to the cleaners by saying 2Baba did not pay him from the royalties accruing from the hit song, ‘African Queen’ which shot 2Face into the limelight. Blackface had claimed he wrote the song but that 2Face refused to pay him. But according to gist coming from the 2Face camp, “2Face doesn’t owe Blackface anything.” One of 2Face’s reps, ‘African Queen’ was produced under the Kennis Music imprint and as such, 2Face cannot personally be held responsible for paying his former group member.” With this refutation from 2Face, it remains to be seen if the cold war will not escalate to something else.
