Rapper 50 Cent sent his teenage son text messages threatening to remove him from his will months before abusing the boy in profanity-laced phone texts.
The 38-year-old rapper sent texts to his 16-year-old son Marquise in November threatening the youth's inheritance.
The 2012 messages surfaced a day after texts exchanged by 50 Cent and his son in January showed the rapper calling his son a 'sh*t head', 'motherf***er' and 'f***ing stupid' in a rant.

'If I died today would it matter to you? I’m changing my will. It’s a simple question,' the New York rapper wrote in a November text obtained by RadarOnline.com.
Marquise responded: 'And this is coming from someone that didn't wish me a happy birthday.'
The rapper, whose given name is Curtis Jackson III, responded defiantly.

'I'm taking you and your mother's daughter out of my inheritance,' he texted.
'I don't care about money, that's my last concern, of course we all like nice things but it's not everything,' Marquise responded.
Two months later, 50 Cent went on a texting tirade against his son in which he demanded a paternity test and told the youngster 'f*** you stop texting me' and 'delete my number.'

The angry text exchanges apparently stemmed from a poorly coordinated custody visitation that angered the rapper due to Marquise not opening the door when he came to visit.
The texts came to a head with 50 Cent disowning the boy, saying: 'I don't have a son anymore.'
50 Cent was charged earlier this month with domestic violence and vandalism stemming from a June altercation with an ex-girlfriend at her condominium in Toluca Lake, California.

50 Cent and the woman had been in a three-year relationship and he has a child with her.
The rapper faces a maximum sentence of five years in jail and $46,000 in fines, if convicted on all counts.
Jackson was due in court on July 22 for his arraignment.
The rapper was dropped from the Major League Baseball All-Star Bash in New York this month, after he was charged with domestic violence.
