'They're going in one direction, and that’s away from here': Harry Styles and the boys are refused entry to members club because they dressed too casually

As one of the world's biggest boy bands they are used to getting everything that they want.
But, One Direction were left out in the cold after they faced the ultimate humiliation by being rejected from a top London venue.
The manufactured X Factor boy band were denied access to a exclusive London members club because of the way they were dressed.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik were rejected from new hot spot 5 Hertford Street because they were dressed too casually.
To add insult to injury the doorman is said to have turned away the chart toppers with a classic line that left the boys fuming.
According to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, doorman Claude Achaume said: 'They're going in one direction, and that’s away from here.'

Fans of the heartthrobs tried to reason with Mr Achaume and vouched for the fame of the singers, but he was unmoved by their celebrity status.
The £28 million members club was launched by Robin Birley last year and has smart dress code policy that applies to all.
Mr Birley doesn't insist on attendees wearing ties, but guests are expected to be 'smart with men wearing a shirt and jacket'.

Harry and the lads were most likely wearing their usual laid back attire of jeans, T-shirts and trainers.
Membership at 5 Hertford Street doesn't come cheap and costs around £1,500 a year on top of a £750 joining fee.
Considering that One Direction earned an estimated £5 million each in 2012, they would have easily been able to afford the high price, but they may need to spend some money on a smarter wardrobe first.
