Sexy in the city: Cameron Diaz dresses in chic monochrome dress as she struts her stuff around New York

She boasts numerous movies in her back catalogue, with the likes of Charlie's Angels, My Sister's Keeper and Bad teacher on the list.
But on Tuesday Cameron Diaz could have easily been mistaken for being in a scene from Sex And The City.
The actress, 40, looked impeccable as she showed off her fashion credentials while strutting her stuff through New York in a monochrome frock.

The dress flattered her figure perfectly with its white top half and black pencil skirt section, while the gold panel cinched in her waist even more.
Cameron showed off her toned arms and legs in the get-up and accessorised with gold jewellery adorning her neck and left wrist.
Diaz even co-ordinated her shoes and bag to the dress as she tottered along in white heels and carried a white leather bag.

To complete the look she wore her blonde locks down and curly and resting just above her shoulders.
The 40-year-old looked in good spirits as she smiled at passersby and waiting photographers.
She has recently been busy filming her latest project, The Other Woman.

Diaz plays a spurned lover out to get revenge on her cheating boyfriend in the upcoming movie.
And Cameron looked in perfect form to deal a devastating blow as she donned a gorgeous red dress on set in New York, on Monday.
Sporting the eye-catching frock, the 40-year-old flagged down a high end sports car for a street scene.

In the film, Cameron teams up with her philandering boyfriend's wife (Leslie Mann) and the pair form an unlikely friendship as they plot to get revenge on the love rat who has been seeing a string of women as well as them.
The film also stars rapper Nicki Minaj as Cameron's opinionated assistant at her New York law firm.
The comedy is directed by Nick Cassavetes, who was behind the camera for The Notebook and My Sister's Keeper and is slated for release on April 25 next year.
