Fraud Alert! Wizkid Accused Of Duping Unilag Students

After crashing his month-old Porsche Panamera over the weekend, Starboi Entertainment C.E.O Wizkid can’t seem to get away from the newsmen. He’s in the headlines again, and this time, by no failing of his.
Yesterday, the singer was at a meeting with at the Zone 2 Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Onikan, Lagos. Zone 2 Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Onikan, Lagos where he was summoned to answer to a charge of fraud brought against him by some students from the University Of Lagos.
The case was made by the students after they claimed to have made monetary payments to Wizkid to perform at a May 21 ‘Concert of Life‘ event which was scheduled to go down at the UNILAG Sports Centre. Wizkid never showed up for the concert and according to his team, that was because the singer was never aware of the concert neither were his team members aware of any transaction.

Wizkid’s team made up a defense that the students were dealing with an imposter hence the silence from them. He eventually was bailed by his lawyer after he wrote a statement and was asked to report back to the station next week. Here’s  the singer’s  2cents on the matter…
