She's never one to shy away from experimenting with fashion.

And Rihanna took the popular ripped jeans trend a step further on Wednesday as she showed off a pair of cut-out sweatpants while heading out to a tattoo parlor in her New York neighborhood.

It appeared as though the 27-year-old singer had taken a pair of scissors to her trousers as she flashed her thighs through the huge holes.

The R&B star was seen checking out artwork while pal, rapper Travis Scott waited patiently nearby, checking messages on is phone.

It's not known if she went ahead and got another tattoo but maybe she was thinking about adding something to reflect her rumored new romance with Lewis Hamilton.

Late Tuesday night, she was at 1Oak nightclub at the same time as the British 30-year-old champion Formula One driver.

Even though she'd stayed out all night until 7 a.m. Wednesday, she seemed unfazed by the all-nighter and not in the least bit tired.

However, they weren't the only famous faces heading to the club's VIP area on the night, as the likes of Rita Ora, French Montana, P Diddy and Cassie were also out in force.
