So many parties, so little TIE! Lewis Hamilton smiles as he successfully gains entry to men's fashion show with a bare collar... after sartorial fail at Wimbledon

While wearing a tie is an institution at British tennis event Wimbledon, it is evidently not for the experimental fashionistas of New York Men's Fashion Week.
Especially since Lewis Hamilton looked pretty smug leaving the Richard Chai men's fashion presentation on Wednesday without a bare collar, despite being embarrassingly turned away from last week's men's final because of the sartorial omission.
Lewis, 30, stepped out for a lesson in men's dressing and took a front row seat in a white ripped jeans and a burgundy shirt, with his buttons fastened to the top.

The Formula 1 race driver was left red faced last Sunday when he was refused admission to the royal box for refusing to wear a tie.
Smart dressers Benedict Cumberbatch, Bradley Cooper and Hugh Grant all stuck to the rules as they dressed up to watch the nail-biting final between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
Lewis has obviously stuck to his guns on the style front and continues to dress in a preppy fashion with his buttons fastened and a bare neck, just as he had done in a floral number on Sunday.

Well turned out: Though it was casual, there was plenty of thought that had gone into the outfit
Proud: He didn't seem to have altered his image one bit
Style smug: He wore trainers, a buttoned up shirt and white jeans for the men's fashion show

Luckily, Lewis hit the right note with Wednesday's crowd, as fellow front row fans Joe Jonas and Darren Criss made similar style choices.
Joe, who's dating Lewis' former rumoured flame Gigi Hadid, looked traditional in checks, while Glee's Darren was fashion-forward as he doubled his denim.
It's the first time that America's design capital will enjoy its own Fashion Week dedicated to Men, and each of the stars felt it right to mark the occasion with an appearance.

More than 50 designers will unveil their looks at New York Fashion Week: Men's, in line with the SS16 previews already shown in London and Paris.
Lewis has already shown his face at fashion bash Tijuana Picnic as well as the Public School Presentation and John Elliott + CO Show.
After sampling designs by Marni, Etro and Oliver Spencer, Lewis' sartorial choices have even prompted The Telegraph to recently question whether Lewis Hamilton was 'now the world's most stylish sportsman,' in the face of critics who branded him 'the worst dressed man in the UK'.
