David Beckham's mini-me Brooklyn takes fashion tips from superstar dad in red plaid shirt and black jeans on day out

He's fast growing into the spitting image of his famous father David Beckham.
And Brooklyn Beckham proved he's inherited his father's sense of style as well as his looks during a day out in New York City on Sunday.
The 15-year-old star was pictured in an outfit that wouldn't have looked out of place on doting dad David, wearing a red plaid shirt open over a black T-shirt and skinny jeans.

In fact, David was spotted in a similar ensemble as the pair jetted into the Big Apple earlier in the weekend, where the pair were supporting singer-turned designer Victoria Beckham at New York Fashion Week.

David, 39, cut a stylish figure in black ripped jeans and a grey tee, which he teamed with a red checked shirt and a pair of beige laced-up boots.
And Brooklyn looked every inch the retired footballer's mini-me as he strode through Times Square on Sunday, especially since the pair are currently sporting matching quiffs.

The teen was accompanied by his maternal grandparents Jacqueline and Anthony, but there was no sign of his siblings Romeo, 11, Cruz, nine and Harper, three.
And style certainly runs in the family, since the gang were celebrating the success of Victoria's latest collection at NYFW.
Brooklyn naturally took pride of place in the front row alongside David and VOGUE Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.

The Spice Girl, formerly known as Posh Spice, debuted a safari-themed collection, with key colours including dusty safari beige, black and oxblood red.
The silhouettes were sleek, with structural detail in the form of high-waist belts and oversized pockets.
Victoria also showcased her first ever line of shoes, writing in her show notes that the opening of her first flagship store in London had "inspired and pushed" her more than ever before.
