Happy 27th birthday Iyanya! After his brief visit to The Beat 99.9 FM, afro-pop superstar Iyanya continued his birthday celebration with a visit to Ikoyi Prisons. The singer who just turned 27 was welcomed warmly by the DCP Bamidele and the community; he proceeded into the correctional facility where he spoke the inmates.
Highlights of the visit included his performance with the talented intimates; the Le Kwa Ukwu crooner aloes pledged to build a recording studio in the establishment for the musically inclined inmates.

Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo Choose Wedding Date

We might be in for another celebrity wedding next month. Peter Okoye of P Square and her fiancee, Lola Omotayo have picked November 17th, 2013 as the day they will tie the knot.
Words on the streets suggest the traditional wedding ceremony will take place at Arc Events Centre, Oniru, Lagos. We are told invitations are currently being sent out and they will have a white wedding in the first quater of 2014.
