She has always been a big fan of parties and Paris Hilton decided to throw her own bash for the Fourth of July this year.

The heiress invited pal Christina Milian along with some other friends to her Malibu beach house for a party.

The pair dressed in star-spangled beachwear for the occasions but despite both wearing red, white and blue, went for very different looks.

Paris was dressed in a white swimsuit with an American flag heart-shaped motif in the centre.

She topped off her look with a flowing patriotic sarong which fell to the floor, although the 32-year-old tied it so that one of her long legs was left on show.

The socialite wore her bright blonde locks in loose waves, aviator sunglasses and a heart-shaped ring on one hand.
